A Brief History

The community of Eagle Ridge was established in 1960. Due to its superior location and accessibility to amentities such as walking paths and the Glenmore Reservoir, the community has always been rich with natural beauty. Within the community of Eagle Ridge is Canada’s famous Heritage Park Historial Village. Established in 1964, Heritage Park is one of the largest living history museums in North America. Eagle Ridge is a small exclusive community, made up of approximately 100 homes and 450 residents. Found in south Calgary, this neighbourhood feels like a private oasis outside the bustle of the city.

Community Association
Eagle Lake’s community association is merged with its neighbours, Chinook Park and Kelvin Grove. This community association has plenty of programs, events, and amenities for residents of these three communities. Their unique programs include activities such as wood carving and karate, amenities include an ice rink and basketball courts, and they throw year round events for residents.

It’s the proximity to Heritage Park and Glenmore Reservoir that puts this community on the map as a prime location.
